Letters
09 Aug, 2026
I'm reading "Letters to Fanny Brawne" by John Keats. I'm also reading "Letters to Milena" by Franz Kafka.
One written in 1820. The other in 1920. And I'm reading both in 2026.
These aren't just letters, they are poetry flowing through time. Neither does time stop, nor do they.
And I happened to dive into this poetry. Now, I'm drowning yet not trying to gasp for a breath. Because I want to explore the depth — the depth of these poetic letters.
There's suffering in there. There's pain too. And underneath all of it, love. Lots of love. John's love for Fanny, and Kafka's love for Milena.
Everyone should experience this poetry. Maybe not drown, at least take a dip.
