Agents in mind
3rd Mar, 2026
I have a child-like curiosity. When something intrigues me, I go crazy about it and dig deeper. You'll see me completely obsessed with it for a few days.
But that obsession never stays long. I move to the next thing and get consumed by that instead.
This pattern has both pros and cons. You must have already guessed the cons (inconsistency, blah blah). So, I'll skip cons and talk about the biggest advantage of this pattern.
Since I move from one thing to another, I could learn something about many things.
I tried my hand at poetry. Wrote a bunch of short stories. Become a freelance writer. Got into marketing. And now, vibe coding.
Also, I'm into chess, running, cycling, sci-fi novels, movie analysis, coffee brewing, Physics, and many more. Recently, fell in love with travel too.
Now, how does all this help?
It helps you collect more dots. And the more dots you have, the more connections you can build.
Here's another way to think about it, one that feels more relevant today: running agents.
When you pick up different things, you build multiple agents in your mind. Each one carries its own set of tools. When a problem shows up, all those agents work together, and sometimes they create something truly amazing!
I wouldn't recommend my obsess-and-abandon cycle. But there's real value in being curious about things outside your main lane.
So, try shit! Collect dots. Have more agents in your mind!
